UEA Social Sciences PhD StudentshipsThe Social Sciences Graduate School is pleased to announce that it will be awarding up to 15 University funded PhD studentships available to students from within or outside the EU for 2015/6 entry.

Studentships are available for the following Schools:

The Studentships cover tuition fees (at the UK/EU rate), a tax-free maintenance grant (currently £13,863 per year), and a research training support grant. International students are welcome to apply but must be able to pay the difference between UK/EU fees and international fees.

Applications for all studentships are invited from suitably qualified graduates. Candidates should hold, or expect to hold, good undergraduate and Master’s degrees (or equivalent) including some research experience. Candidates will be interviewed, usually via telephone or Skype, as part of the selection process. EU and International applicants may be required to provide evidence of competence in the English Language.
