Are you considering studying a Masters degree but put off by the cost?

Don't be! The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) are making a total of £50 million of funding available for students on taught postgraduate masters courses. This money will be offered as part of a new Postgraduate Support Scheme (PSS) following the success of a similar pilot programme last year. It will be allocated on a matched-funding basis, meaning universities will receive £5,000 from the PSS and will combine this with £5,000 with their own funding creating a £10,000 bursary for each eligible student.

Therefore up to 10,000 students can benefit from postgraduate taught study in 2015! Now is a better time than ever to consider a masters degree!

Eligibility: you will need to be a current UK or EU undergraduate student and have paid the higher rate of tuition introduced in 2012-13. You will also need to be from a background that is under-represented at your chosen university.
